Dynamic Updates: Today is Saturday, December 21, 2024, and she (C8DENCE) has been out of service for 1248 days and in the shop for 1230 days. It’s been 1272 days since purchase, and I still haven’t been able to “show and go!” as stated by Jay Grams from Volo Auto Sales. We have an estimated 19 days to completion of unexpected “AS-IS” repairs.

2023-06-21 – Test drive, 20 freeway miles (57N), water temp exceeded 210 degrees, flatbed back to Cambra. Inspect, address potential issue. Prepare for V’s dyno.

2023-06-29 – Discovered internal engine issues while on V’s dyno. Low oil pressure after engine warms up. Engine needs to be pulled (again).

2023-08-18 – Engine out and now at Jeff Ginter Racing Engines awaiting inspection. Engine debris discovered in oil filter. Estimated 2-3 weeks before inspection begins.

2023-09-14 – Engine needs to be replaced, damage throughout.

2023-10-02 – Transfer from Cambra Speed Shop after 784 days. C8DENCE (Roller) via AMZ Towing to Auto Addiction OC.

2023-11-13 – Engine picked up from Jeff Ginter Racing Engines by JBA Speed Shop on 2023-11-11. JBA AntiCrate™ Blueprinted Engine build in progress. All new internal components. BBF 385 Series, 460, 509 CID (8.34 Liters), Kaase SR-71 Cylinder Heads, SCAT Custom 509 CID BBF Rotating Assembly with RaceTec 460 Dish Pistons.

2024-04-15 – All custom components received. JBA AntiCrate™ Blueprinted Engine build in progress.
